One of the most sought-after men in the world in the 1960s was Peter Noone, the former lead vocalist of Herman’s Hermits. The band became well-known throughout the world with to hits like “I’m Into Something Good,” and in 1965 they even outsold the Beatles. Even though he never called himself an alcoholic, the experience aided in his emotional development and increased his stage presence. He made the decision to cut back on his drinking, and he hasn’t had a drink in sixteen years. But he doesn’t mind if his wife drinks if she wants to.
Mireille and Noone have been blissfully married for forty-three years. He was 20 when they first met, and he fell in love with her right away. He eventually won her heart while on vacation in Ibiza. Nicole is their daughter’s name. Herman’s Hermits remained together until 1971, when each of the group’s twenty-four members chose to go their own ways.
Noone ventured into theater in the 1980s, first appearing on Broadway in The Pirates of Penzance and then presenting the American music television program My Generation. He has been actively involved in teaching up-and-coming musicians more lately; he even served as a coach and judge on American Idol.
